Old Colorado City Craft Fair is from June to October each year. The Market surrounds the Old Colorado City History Museum with 28 outdoor booths. We offer booth sizes two booth sizes, a 10x10 Space and 6x4 Table Space.

All of our vendor booth fees go toward supporting our market's home at The Old Colorado City Historical Society & History Center. Support local history and drop by!

Basic vendor requirements are as follows:

Artisans are only permitted to sell their own handmade arts and crafts. No dropshipping. No A.I. Generated Images. No commercial businesses

Art Services can include face painting, live art creation, caricatures, balloon art, tinsel hair artists. Please email the coordinator to see if your services are allowed at our market at occcraftfair@gmail.com

Food/Consumables are not permitted we are art only

Application Process
Complete and submit the online application form to be considered as a vendor at OCC Craft Fair. Wait for your approval and watch your email and our socials for the upcoming season sign ups.

Deadline
Applications are open from January-September. If we are sold out, applicants can opt into our waitlist for any last minute openings.

10'x10' Canopy ($40)

This 10' x 10' space is ample for most vendors. Any canopies, booth covers, tables, and displays MUST fit in this space. The coordinator will require any excess to be taken down

6ft Table ($25)

Many first-time crafters appreciate the ability to have a small space without the pressure to create a large inventory of items.

You may bring an umbrella for shade. Any umbrellas, booth covers, tables, and displays MUST fit in this space. The coordinator will require any excess to be taken down

- You must provide your own table, tent & chairs depending on the space chosen.

- You must provide weights if you are using a tent to safely secure it.

- Weights are NOT allowed to be attached to the History Center building in any way.

- The vendor is responsible if there is an accident due to their tent and/or displays not being securely placed within their space.

- Vendor should have their own insurance.

- You must have a business license and pay your state and city taxes.

Selection Process
This is a non-juried show. We do have an approval process each vendor must go through annually to ensure goods are art and craft related. No commercial, MLMs, general services, or wholesale companies. The sale of food, drink, consumables, or AI art is strictly prohibited. We make our best effort to limit the number of vendors selling the same or similar items.

Booth Assignments
Booth locations are assigned by the coordinator. We attempt to keep competing businesses separated, but we make no guarantees. While we will make every effort to comply with your request, OCCCF reserves the right to change your booth location at any time without notice.

Set-up Times:

- Set up begins at 6:15am, vendors must be set up and ready for market by 8:00am.

- Vendors arriving less than 30 minutes prior to craft fair opening are considered late. Late arrivals might not be allowed to set up and must have permission from the coordinator prior to setting up.

- If you have not shown up or notified the coordinator by 8 am, you have forfeit your space for that weekend and will NOT receive a refund. Repeated tardiness or no call, no shows may result in your permanent removal from the market with no refund.

Parking:
- Parking is extremely limited due to the Farmers Market and residential area.

- Street parking is available down Pikes Peak Ave. on the north side of the History Center, and throughout the neighborhood.

- There are Parking Meters along 24th St. beside the History Center, and down to Colorado Ave and must be paid.

- If you have more than one car please unload your car and promptly move your vehicle to another spot in order to keep the parking area accessible for other vendors.

- Parking is first come first served

- You can utilize the History Center Parking lot for unloading and loading.

- If you want to stay parked in the parking lot you must purchase a pass through the Season Interest Form

- Please plan accordingly

Breakdown Times:
- Break down time varies because of the crowds, but is typically between 1:30 and 2:30pm

- Break down before 1pm is not allowed

- If you breakdown earlier without permission you will be given 1 warning and then you will not be allowed back at our market.

Promotion
- Marketing efforts include advertisements on the Old Colorado City website, The OCC History Museum Website, Instagram and Facebook. A banner is permanently fixed to the side of the History Museum. Signs are placed at strategic locations around the museum during the events.

- Each vendor is highly encouraged to share this craft fair on their socials or in any way they can.

- Our low cost booth fees and said fees being used to help support the OCC History Center means our marketing methods are limited. We strive to work together as a community to support our local artists.

Assistance
- An attempt will be made to provide volunteers to help with loading and unloading, however there is no guarantee. Neither OCCCF nor the volunteers will be held responsible for damaged items. We recommend you bring friends or family to load in/out and for breaks.
- No dollies/carts will be available to help you with load-in/out, please bring your own dollies, carts, etc. to help you bring your supplies in and out of the building.

Security
- We do not have a roaming security guard. We rely on each other to make sure everyone is ok. OOCF shall not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Taxes
- All vendors must have a Sales Taxes License number. To apply for a Colorado Springs sales tax license click here and a CO state sales tax license click here

- All vendors are responsible to remit tax payment to the State of Colorado AND to the City of Colorado Springs

- Current tax rate is 8.2%

The combined amount is 8.20%, broken out as follows:

3.07% City of Colorado Springs (self-collected)
- 2.00% General Fund
- 0.10% Trails, Open Space, and Parks (TOPS)
- 0.40% Public Safety Sales Tax (PSST)
- 0.57% 2C Road Tax
2.90% State of Colorado
1.23% El Paso County
1.00% Pikes Peak Rural Transit Authority (PPRTA)

Cancellations
- Due to the fact that the weather in Colorado changes so quickly, the decision and announcement to cancel an event is made as soon as possible before the event is scheduled to begin. If OCCCF cancels due to severe weather, we will make every attempt to contact you and will refund all booth fees.

- If the exhibitor cancels because of severe weather or any other reason, absolutely no refunds are given.

- If you are aware that you are going to miss a Saturday you are scheduled for, please try to contact Nicole via email at occcraftfair@gmail.com or by phone (number will be given to approved vendors)

- We are typically sold out for the season and have a long waitlist so we would appreciate 48 hour notice, but we understand things pop up at the last minute.

Etiquette

- We are thrilled to have each of you back and delighted to be welcoming our new Vendors!

- Let us all appreciate each other’s talent and hard work and be courteous and kind to one another on these Saturdays.

- If anyone has any concerns or comments, or questions throughout the season, please direct those to Nicole, we will take care of anything going on.

- Some guidelines to adhere by:

▪ Be courteous to one another

▪ All concerns go to Nicole, not to any other OCCHS Volunteers—

▪ You will receive 1 verbal warning if problems arise, 1 written warning if problems continue and thereafter you will be asked to vacate your space with no refund.

• Let us enjoy the summer, each other and have everyone have a good time!

Bathrooms

- You are each welcome to utilize our restrooms in the History Center.

- To make things simple for those of you on Pikes Peak Ave. (North Side of Building). The door on that side of the building will be unlocked as early as possible. For those of you on the patio, the patio door to the kitchen will be open. For those of you on the South side of the building the front door will be open.

- They will be open by 7:00am.

Kitchen Usage

- We have a refrigerator/freezer, and microwave that everyone is welcome to use.

- Coffee and water will also be available. If you use the end of a pot please brew a new pot.
