Lucky Locks Hair Sparkles
Brittany Badeau
We perform the service of tying fine strands of sparkly silk into hair. They come in just about any color you can imagine, they are non-damaging to your hair, are heat resistant, color resistant, and you can treat them just as you would your normal hair. Each strand will last until the hair its attached to sheds, which could be a day to a year!✨
"Lucky Locks® are fine threads of sparkling silk made for your hair that come in your choice of 40+ mesmerizing colors to suit your style. They can be placed as a subtle statement for you to rock every day, or placed boldly for an event you really want to shine for.
Unlike plastic hair tinsel, Lucky Locks’ sparkles are soft, flexible, and lightweight, so they take on the personality of any hair shape.
“Tiny but mighty” as we say, they are dainty and classy, yet strong enough to withstand the highest heat from your hair tools such as curling irons, straighteners, or blow dryers. They also survive hair coloring, color lifting, and other chemical treatments, believe it or not. There are no beads, glues, or loops to avoid with our installation method, as each individual thread is tied securely to a single strand of your hair and will last until you naturally shed that hair. They can last a day to a year, though a few clients are still finding sparkles placed over 2 years ago!"

The Sun's Recipe
Karine Hervy
The Sun’s Recipe is a celebration of art and nature, and it is the work of artist Karine Hervy. True nature-lover, she draws inspiration and creativity in the great outdoors, where she uses plant materials and the sunlight to create her cyan-blue botanical art.
The artist uses the cyanotype technique to create her pieces. Cyanotype is an alternative photographic printing process where subjects are laid onto emulsion-covered paper, exposed to sunlight and developed in the dark. This operation can take up to several hours depending on the materials used. The result is always unpredictable, completely unique and we might be biased but we find it breathtaking!
Karine also enjoys playing with her original pieces to create whimsical prints with fun and endearing shapes (especially animals), which adds a touch of playfulness to her collections.
Her goal is to inspire you to pause, look around and let the simple beauty of nature work its magic, making you feel happy, at peace, connected with yourself, and in harmony with the world around you.
